Exclamation ** Engine Timing help on STI V6 Urgent **

Hey guys i was working with my mate on his subaru sti v6 saloon basically need nelp on timinh now as when changing the time belt the top crank shaft got moved basically the timing needs to be set aagain please help is there a diagram at all also there are white markings please can some one help urgent. need help on timing the engine

Just make sure its right if its not you will end up with a rebuild as i did on my V6 STi.

Then you need be clearer on what exactly you are having trouble with.

The double white line markings on the cam pulleys need to be aligned together, as shown in the pics. Crankshaft sprocket has a dot on it.

Right hand bank of the engine will be on lift when you took the belt off, hence why the cams have spun round a bit on that side.

i have lined with all the markings but still engine not turning

Make sure you line the Crank Sprocket up by using the line mark on it and not the triangle mark.
