Default Which clutch to buy?

Hi, need some advice for what clutch to buy for my '97 UK Turbo, as my current one has started slipping. I have made some searches, and i am after a fairly basic one as my car is only mildy tuned so not running much more power than standard.

I have seen Exedy organic clutch kits for under £200, are these ok? Is it 230mm?
And could somebody explain this pink box/blue box malarky?
And are there any recommended places to buy from?
Cheers.

I have had the standard exedy before with 270bhp worked fine. Got it from Bob at Aztec on here, he's in the traders section, probably others in there too. Not sure about the size but they should be able to advise.

I've got a standard Exedy (not the uprated pink box) on mine running 311bhp/321flb and its fine. Came from Aztec as well

Make sure you get the flywheel skimmed, I didn't do this on my old scooby and regretted it. I got API to skim it on exchange basis.

I'm pretty sure your clutch size is 225mm. You can fit a 230mm but would need a new flywheel AFAIK.

Blue Box = OEM replacement
Pink Box = Uprated/Racing

A OEM Replacement will be fine for your needs.

If you are skimming the flywheel anyhow, either the 225mm or 230mm will fit. If you're not sure what you currently have fitted I would just get the 225mm one.
