Default Hawkeye scoop undertray advice needed

I have a 2007 2.5 Hawkeye WRX and am changing the intercooler from the postage stamp size standard fit to an Sti one.

Can I modify the existing undertray..... look for an S/H one or buy new (God knows what that will cost!)

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi

When I changed my intercooler I moddified my old WRX undertray by cutting the metal vent out... I was worried though beacause it is then only the plastic scoop on the bonnet that directs air into the cooler... and it could possibly distort due to air pressure etc.....

I eventually went to Subaru and bought the STI one for about £100 which has 2 open slots in it to divert the airto the front and rear of the cooler...

I hope that makes sense
