if you are planing to change the timing belt then you might as well get a new water pump and also uprated oil pump (roger Clark 12mm) personally i would change it if i was doing the the cambelt.

Don't bother with a 12mm oil pump, standard ones flow plenty if you want to modify the relief valve that's up to you.

Ok i will add the water pump to the list (slipped my mind) and a pollen filter. Thanks for that guys. Going to be expensive but worth knowing the cars in good stead. Looking at about £900 for all that including labour am i right?

Are you mechanically minded? If so, id do the fluids myself and pay a garage to do the cambelt. Will shave about two hours off the labour cost. . . Just a thought.

Get the car down to Richard Henry Motorsport and let them have a good look at it. You won't get better customer care, service and value.

Yep i was going to book it in with richard henry. Been down a couple of times and they are a really friendly and helpful bunch. Had planned on doing the fluids myself and a few other bits n bats (brake pads to start with).

The cambelt etc is going have to be done by richard henry though

Mate for what it's worth just let them do the lot. I've been down the same road as you and thought about saving a few quid by doing some bits meself. However after giving my head a shake and realizing I suffer serious spanner rash I decided against it. I suppose if you're handy with cars and don't mind getting stuck in it's worth a shot. In my case I just thought I'd let the experts do it.
