if you are planing to change the timing belt then you might as well get a new water pump and also uprated oil pump (roger Clark 12mm) personally i would change it if i was doing the the cambelt.

Ok i will add the water pump to the list (slipped my mind) and a pollen filter. Thanks for that guys. Going to be expensive but worth knowing the cars in good stead. Looking at about £900 for all that including labour am i right?

Are you mechanically minded? If so, id do the fluids myself and pay a garage to do the cambelt. Will shave about two hours off the labour cost. . . Just a thought.

Yep i was going to book it in with richard henry. Been down a couple of times and they are a really friendly and helpful bunch. Had planned on doing the fluids myself and a few other bits n bats (brake pads to start with).
The cambelt etc is going have to be done by richard henry though
