Default At what point do I need a remap

Recently got an 04 wrx wagon with PPP. I have fitted a green panel filter and de-resonated centre.
Anybody know at what point I would need to get a remap if I did the following:
1. Decat up-pipe
2. Decat downpipe
3. Decat midpipe

Appreciate any help

Cheers, John

Up and down pipe need boost trimming to stop overboost. So you might as well get it remapped to suite and extract the power.

See here ref extracting power from the standard map without mods:

Happy to help if I can!

If you want extra power then you have to remap........the DENSO ECU is very clever and just goes about it's daily business and compensates (mostly) for what you do to the intake / exhaust side of things.

Not sure if the TD04 will overboost......... perhaps John Banks might step in with his experience

For what its worth, my wrx has a performance filter and turbo back 3" system, boost hits a max of 10psi briefly. I intend to get a remap during the summer as I also have a decat uppipe and VF24 to go in. I am trying to decide whether to go for larger injectors too or just get a conservative map. Im not fussed on pushing for every horsie if it means everything else is getting maxxed out.

they are 420cc on newage wrxs up to hawkeye where they are 550cc

They max out at just over 300.

You can pick up 550cc injectors cheap so no need to try and make do IMO.
