Default 20 second squeaking noise on a cold start up

Hi guys,

Ive got a classic impreza sport thats not used as often is it once was. In the fast few months its started sqeaking for around 20 seconds on a cold start up. Sounds like it might be a pully of some sort. Its not really bothered me as its drives fine once I pull away, but I am now considering selling and want to make sure its looked at before I decide to show to potential buyers.

Has anyone come accross this before?

Could be alternator belt needs tightening. More load having just started the engine making it slip a bit. Other possible is Air Con adjuster pulley. Both belts dead easy to tighten.

Mine used to make a quietish intermittent squeal for about 30 seconds when started from cold till I had the front main oil seal changed and its fine now so was probably just a belt.
