I bought this for my STi 5 and got API to fit it - works great:-

SUBARU SPEEDO CONVERTER / DELIMTER / KMH TO MPH

Plus you need an "MPH" sticker to go over the OEM "KPH" print on the speedo.

...And removes the limiter, so you have 180mph potential!

Is it a japanese import or a uk model?
If its japanese it should just be a case of disconnecting the speedo converter which will have been fitted.
If its uk buy the above converter

A polar performance chip or similar will soon remove the limiter
