Default Re-map or re-set? 1994 classic

Just had to fit a de-cat pipe out of necessity,

Now im suffering from either fuel-cut or over-boost under hard acceleration (in the rare occasions i put my foot down!!!) Its like a hiccup at about 5000rpms and then hitting a brick wall,

Do i need to re-map or re-set the ECU Car is running @270 BHP with a dawes device and straight through exhaust, induction kit and dump valve any other mods i am not aware about as i only had car two weeks, however was fine until de-cat pipe fitted!!!

Unscrew the Dawes Device a half turn and test run. Repeat until cut stops.

Thanks peeps,

I take it the dawes device is the brass looking union situated in the actuator line!

Yes.

It'll be a brass device with the screw thing with (usually) a hexagonal nut.
