As per title really. Lol

Noticed the couple of times driving lately a noise that is kind of odd.

Get the noise of a whining/whirling almost when the car starts to boost and when you come off it charters as normal then the noise you normally get of the turbo winding down out the exhaust but is louder than normal and coming from the engine bay or the turbo itself?

I recently changed the filter but the same so is not any different in size or gauze etc and that's had plenty of miles anyway.

Thinking the up pipe maybe leaking or worse the GT headers have cracked?

Any ideas? Turbo is MD321 T, GT spec headers. Both done around 8k or so.

when my gt spec headers were leaking, when starting first thing in the morning and condensation that had built up in the exhaust from cooling down, it would leak out the up pipe joint and you could feel gases escaping at this point once warm and they had expanded you couldnt feel anything escaping ,just a thought take a look.

I'm sure you have replaced and secured the airbox and inlet tract correctly after fitment but they are still in the same state ?

As above, that would be more obvious when the pipes are cold and should be easy to spot.

Thanks guys. Will check up pipe section. Part of me thinks it could just be cooler air running into the intake creating noise. Yesterday it was a little bit hotter and couldn't hear it as much.

It's weird I most likely haven't explained myself correctly but I know what I mean.
