Default Help... Wheel wobble and noise from my mates Integra after track day

We took my mates Intgra on a track day yesterday (type R DC2) and towards the end of the day there was (what felt like from driver side) a slight grinding noise under braking and a bad wobble over about 30 MPH that shakes the whole car.

There is also a loud "ticking" noise that seems to come with every revolution of the wheel.

My first guess is the CV joint/drive shaft, but I have been charged with trying to find out what the problem is as he has now gone on holiday and returns two days before his next booked and paid for track day.

It was me driving when it went so I need to help him get this fixed.

Does this sound like it could be the problem, I understand it's very hard to diagnose this kind of problem but was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar.

Thanks in advance.

What track... I've buckled a wheel or two hitting the chevrons on a corner on track... and you probably warped a disk or something

It was an airfield in Longbridge.

We had two spare wheels with us and swapped the two front there and then made no difference so obviously not wheel related.

Just checked and a new drive shaft is just over the £100 mark so think I'll have a punt with that. As I have been asked on the up and coming track day if I can get it fixed in time. (Bedford)
