how far do i go!
Hi,
Hi had a toothed pulley spit its bearings out on my uk 99/00 wagon so ive taken the engine out and found 4 bent valves (exhaust i think).Do i have to replace all the valves or just the bent ones and can i keep the original springs and colletts?Trying to do this on a very tight budget so the less i need to buy the better but on the other hand i dont want to end up having to take the engine out again cause ive skimped on things.
Cheers Paul

You can just replace the bent valves, springs and collets should be fine, but also look for any damage to the piston crowns, either way it's not going to be cheap, it may be better getting an engine shop to look over the head.
