Default what to do ??

Ive got to rebuild my 2.0l cdb as the bearings are beginning to rattle. I intend on boring it to 92.5mm and use je pistons and eagle rods. but I dint know what to do with the bottom end. I'm aiming for around 350 to 400bhp, so what do I do about the crank. will a standard £500 jobbie do the job or do I need a much stronger crank. You can buy a nitrided crank for £600ish but it's for the rear thrust bearing so it's going to cost another £300 on machining the block. The last option is go full monty and buy a billet crank for around £1000...

Go for a 2.1 ! It will give better low down torque and spool your turbo sooner...

Or just buy a std. crank, they aren't exactly fragile.
