Lack of C.E.L ??
Hi all,
I've had a niggling overfueling fault when cold - I have changed the coolant sensor, MAF for genuine new & O2 sensor replaced with 'known good' Bosch one.
I have done a live data read with ECUEXPLORER to see the O2 reads at 0.8v when cold which would explain the fueling.
I was told it could be a 'lazy' O2 sensor & that if I disconnect it, it wouldn't harm IF the sensor was faulty.
I ran the car for around 15 miles today & it felt smoother.
So, to the title - I was expecting the CEL to light up but it didn't...
I reconnected the O2 just now and checked for codes by joining the black wires under dash - it had no codes stored still !
Any pointers would be appreciated - car is a standard UK Turbo 00MY
Thanks,
wazlee

I guess the 02 sensor is not very important to the car. It's one of the (maybe the only) sensors you can disconnect without getting a CEL.
Have you used a wideband to measure the overfueling? What values did you get? Are you using a standard FPR?

Cheers saiklon,
It's the OE standard FPR on the car at the moment.
I've not had a reading with a wideband yet, just ECUEXPLORER which pointed out the high voltage when cold - when warm it scales as should.
I have reset the ECU and then straight away disconnected the sensor again - it is running 'sweet as' now - so I'm guessing it is Fekked
