Sticky clutch
Well I have the common sticky clutch ,just bought the car yesterday, has intermittent biting points constantly pulling pedal off the floor etc etc. I've bought a slave unit n master cylinder and plan on fitting sat.
Do I need any seals or are they all banjo bolts, can I just do a straight swap. Something I've never done before .

There is fluid leaking somewhere the res has gone from full to brim to min Mark from about ten mile drive home from buying it , want to start using Monday so bought both to cover all areas so either one hopefully cures

The guy reconed he could c fluid dripping from res on the exhaust manifold , can't c it my self . So thought I'd get both just in case. But per original question do these parts need seals of some sort or just bolt on. Cos I no Scoobys use alot of banjos on the oil feeds

Could also be the pipe between the two. I had similar issues with my clutch and replaced the master, then the slave and it was still sticking and loosing fluid. Then replaced said pipe and all was good..........Banjo's on both ends of the pipe, don't know about inside the box for the slave as a mate did it for me. Cost of pipe was about 30 quid (few years back).

Stopped the intercooler out tonight and found the slave unit was covered in oil mainly round the small rubber gaiter so seems the slave is the culprit.
Just wondering where the best place to bleed the system from is?
