Default oil filter

Hi all,

I am about to do an oil change on my car, regards to the oil filter. Is there any specific make I should use or is one from halfords or Andrew page ok to use?

They say that the genuine 1 is better! Although Ive never had any issues with a non genuine 1's.

Just make sure you fill the oil filter before fitting and prime the oil pump before you start her after the oil change.

Thats the reason i use non genuine on my own. I only use genuine if the customer asks for genuine parts, then i'll get the items the day before the car is due in

Go ahead to pages! It'll be fine.

I've just realised you're from the spiritual home of Castrol!
I assume you've already got your oil? If not, get oil and filter package from Opie Oils with a member discount! I've been using UFI filters from Opie for ages - no problem.

I used the black OEM filters, up until they changed to the bule ones.

I now use K&N filters on the RB and all's good!
