i have just secured the purchase of a 07 wrx with 9900m on the clock .
my question is this. should i go off miles or years for my service schedual given the fact it has done 9900 over 4 years. was last serviced in march 09 @7300m .. what would be the best course of action do you think?????

still go on the age of the car , oil and fluids still go off with age ..

It will state x miles OR x age, whichever comes first.

so like i said as it is 4 yrs old but only done 9900m and service 2yrs ago @7890m what service should i start with and when ie a,b,c,d now 10k, 17k.........???????

To get you back in line with your service schedule you will require the 3rd and 4th year service

This includes -

Engine Oil (5w40 shell helix fully synthetic)
Oil Filter
Sump Washer
Brake Fluid
Gearbox & Diff Oil
Gearbox Drain Gasket
Air Filter (genuine subaru)

I can supply these parts mail order for you to either do the service yourself or take it to your local specialist, atleast you know you have the correct parts

Price including vat and delivery is from £145 (price depending if you want a different oil brand/grade or air filter (new Pro-R or K/N)

Next year service consists of -

Engine Oil
Oil Filter
Sump Washer
Timing Belt
