Not a bearing as no whirring sound. if a warped disc then surely it would judder at any speed. Defo not a loose wheel nut. Could not see any residue.
If you are doing 80 and then break. It judders till you get below 60 then stops. The judder goes through the steering wheel. The dash does not shake. Can feel a little bit through the pedal. It's not a violent judder.

Balancing is ok as no other judder at all apart from when pressing the brake. It does pull slightly to the left.
It had a new ball joint fitted about 1000 miles ago.
Could it be the lower control arm bushes as it says on some other forums. I have had a look but can't see them split or corroded.

I will try a drive tomorrow with hard breaking to see if I can get a better feel and have a look at the pads again. Didn't see any unevenness. The pedal felt as normal. Not spongy or anything like that.
Only picked it up today at 6pm. So will have to try and get a good look tomorrow.

A buckled wheel on the front can be reasonably balanced so driving is ok, but under hard braking the extra load on the wheel shows the deformity somewhat more.
Try looking on the inside of the rim for anything a miss if nothing showing on the outside.
