Default hesitant up to 3,500 rpms???

some advice needed please.
car is an 06 hawkeye non-turbo.
the car is hesitant on acceleration up to 3,500 rpm, once it hits that rpm it clears and acceleration back to normal.
happens cold or warm in all gears.
only recent changes where full service including plugs and cam belt change. ngk iridium spark plugs fitted at service.
car was fine before service. i am leaning towards spark plugs but all ideas and coments welcome.
thanks in advance.

Mate of mine had the same problem with his classic wagon sport today, need to move your knock sensor seems like a common problem upon using the search button.

Id say if it was ok before the service its more than likely to be something done during the service. Could be plugs, or even a tooth out on timing!

I had a faulty spark plug on mine the other month, caused no difference at lower rpm but hesistant under acceleration over 3500rpm.
