JDM WRX have AVCS and UK don't have AVCS.

But i would also ask about the brakes,JDM WRX usually have front 2pots and rear single pots,UK WRX have usually Front 4pots and Rear 2 pots.

AVCS will help spool turbo,similar function is on Honda called VTEC.

Yes is there difference in performance,JDM have usually more BHP(240-250bhp),UK have 215bhp.

Engines are same,just JDM WRX have AVCS.

AVCS is active valve control system or basically a variable valve control system.

To add to what has been said. There are some engine difference and definitely quite a bit of difference in performance.

9:1 CR / 8:1 CR
250ps 333nm / 218ps 292nm
Closer ratios with 4.444 FD / Wider ratios with 3.9 FD

Everything makes for a much sweeter drive if you ask me.
