I'm after some advice please, i have 2001 wrx bug, running approx 270bhp, with ecutek remap, walbro fuel pump, and sports cat.

I'm in the process of fitting pinks, vf35 turbo and decat upipe and remap soon, do i need a 3 port boost valve instead of my 2 port??

Any advice would be greatly received.

If your having a tweak to your existing map,then yes buy a 3 port as it will allow your mapper to be able to control the boost better and get the best out of your set up.Dont worry about fitting it before you have it mapped as most mappers can have one fitted in under 5 mins before the remap starts.

Thankyou for advice, I wasnt too sure about it but sounds like it could be of benefit to me. I'm having trouble tracking any down, can you recommend any where i can get one please? or will i have to go direct to subaru?

Bob Rawle told me he could get better boost control with the 3-port when he mapped my Bug WRX (TD05 fitted). He had a row of them on his shelf

Can't the mapper source and fit you one on the day ??

Harvey on here is selling MAC 3 ports. B Rawle suggested a 3 port when I modded my old Spec C, also have a 3 port on current classic.

If having a map done I would fit one as it allows much better control of the boost without the expense of a boost controller
