WRX cut out Starts and then cuts out HELP
Hi, just put a new ECU in the car, cleaned all the boost sol pipes and changed the intake pipes to Samico ones. I have had a problem with the rev counter dropping when I indicate so removed the clocks and fixed a broken track. As the car was due to get checked out on a mapping run I filled the tank with V Power and went for a short run.
After a short sprint the engine died. I tried to start it but it turns over, fires and then just dies !!. It trys to stsrt each time then just dies after 1 second.
I am thinking fuel pressure, but I can hear the new pump starting , then stopping after 1 second or 2.
I now need to get my car recovered !!
Any ideas, think fuel pressure reg ?

Quick update !,
Recovered the car afer having a quick word with a pall of mine who tells me the pipe supplied with the pumps are no good and kink.
I went back ith my tools , removed the pump and the hose has exploded.
Its back at the house now , where I will remove the crap hose and replace with quality stuff !!.
Word of warning whan you change the pump !! use good fuel line.
Regards DP
