Nice spec mate, as a point of comparison I purchased the following car only a week ago after looking for ages. I wanted something with your spec tbh but couldn't find one in good condition.

2003 Mica Black STI
52k FSH incl cambelt - Dealer Subaru and Power Station History
PPP
Front Spliter
Recent breaks and pads change
Exedy stage 1 organic clutch
4 new bridgestone potenza's
Immaculate condition inside and out (bar few scuffs on alloys and usual stone chips)
10months Mot & 6 months tax

I paid £7000. At the time of purchase there were / are cheaper cars out there and I looked at quite a few, most were poor to average condition and the history wasn't very comprehensive. I could have probably got a similar car for around the £6-£6.5k mark however as this one is going to be a keeper (usually sell up after 4-6months) I didn't mind too much paying a little bit extra for a proper car.

I personally would have much preferred to have bought a modified car from an enthusiast as I'm now spending more money on getting the car up to spec, however standard PPP cars tend to get a little bit more and my car seems to have had a pretty easy life.

Before purchasing this car I was planning on going for a 2004 car with very similar spec to yours, running approx 400bhp, 38mm waste gate, screamer pipe, hydra ecu etc etc after a number of conversations with the chap it was all set to go if his current p/x deal with an M3 fell through. In the end the p/x went ahead. We struck a deal at £7900.

Don't want to give a definitive figure on what your car is worth, it depends on the buyer really. I would personally advertise the car for £8995 and if someone was to offer you £8k I would let it go.

Sounds right, sorry for my ignorance in not knowing what the various parts cost. You have some good bits on the car so I agree you could ask for more.

If you do decide to break the car, can I be the first to offer to take the headers and uppipe and rear strut brace. I reckon however you should sell as a whole. With that mileage and spec someone (like myself) who is looking for a complete car will snap your hand off for it.

I have ended up spending near 2k on all the mods on top of the price I paid, which I know I won't ever get back. But hey, that's the nature of the game.

GLWTS...stick some pics up if you get chance.
