Default Getting a newage boost control solenoid to pulse?

Hi all,

Apparently when you connect the green plugs under the dash of a newage the bcs doesn't pulse like on the classics.

Anybody know he easiest way to make it pulse? as I want to spray some carb cleaner into it to clean it.

Thanks

They do click, just slowly and not very loud. If you stick your finger on it and it doesn't click at all then it isn't working! What's the prob? Have you fixed your leak yet?

Hi Martin, hope you're well? booked in for exhaust gaskets but it's still overboosting! Checked all pre-turbo vac and all ok, and have noticed that the boost is pulsing at steady throttle so thought the next place to look would be bcs. Any other ideas? Starting to lose patience!!

Yes, get the leak fixed then come see me! I'm more than happy to tweak once the leak is sorted FOC, that's probably your easiest option. It's a possibility that the leak is causing grief or you have another issue that has occured, but best to drive off boost until I look at it.

I just attach two wires to the solenoid and then touch them onto the battery terminals. I'm almost certain the test mode on Newages doesn't pulse the BCS.
