claasic parallel fuel rail question?
Just after some advice really, i'm in the process of heading as close to 340-350bhp on my 96' sti as i can. So far i have, Changed turbo for a TD05 18g as mine was shagged, sourced some pink 550cc side feed injectors, sourced stainless manifold, heat wrapped & fitted, 3'' down pipe, de catted, etc. Have a apexi fc power commander ecu & controller & already have a 3 port boost valve fitted along with large front mount intercooler. Also done fuel pump upgrade, along with swirl pot mounted in the boot.
I'm nearly ready to make to call to JGM to book in for mapping to commence.
My question is, is it worth the hassle of fitting parallel fuel rails with the set up?? or is it not really necessarily needed? I have searched it but couldn't really come to a conclusion
Cheers.

What ever you do dont fit a cheap crap fuel pressure reg, stick with fuelab, sx, aeromotive etc.
Debatable whether parrellel needed at this level, probably spend the money better elsewhere.
As Matt points out need either apexi map sensor or a boost controller whic is the advantage of a simtek over powerfc as cost of powerfc + boost controller + mapping equals a simtek fitted and mapped.

Ok cheers, this is what i thought. If i stick with the standard rails then, would i need an adjustable fuel pressure reg anyway?
I went with the power fc as i got it for a decent price second hand, so should still work out cheaper than a simtek - fingers crossed.
