Default AUTOMATIC ECU WERE IS IT HIDEING

Anyone tell me were the auto ecu is on a subaru sf5 98 forester
I've removed a shagged automatic box form a 98 sf5 forester and replaced it with a 96 wrx manual 5 speed box
Dose anyone have any info also why dose the manual box have 2 switches reverse and ?????

Manual box has a neutral position switch as well as reverse switch.

Hope you have fitted the matching rear diff as well.

Well what i thought was the auto ecu turns out to be the abs brain lolol explains why the abs light was on lolso am still looking for the auto ecu anyone pin point it after doing the gearbox change am knackered so any help would be good,
ps feels good to have a gear stick in me left hand again, only draw back wont be able to play with me self as much lolol

Hi there

technically you can do if you are swap your 4EAT ABS module for manual(used cost £40) or you can re-use your 4EAT TCU via this guide
