hi all as you all no im having boost problems well i have disconected the boost solenoid and ran it with out it down the road the squeak noise has now gone but when i reconect it the squeak noise comes back
I have hardy any boost with out the boost solenoid but its smoother and it does not squeak when it spins up
if i put all the pipe work back together as it should be i get boost but its all over the place hesitant and never boosts like it should also i get that high pitched loud squeak im baffled and pretty much fed up now
The car will be going to a mate for his r33 soon if i cant pin point it
I love the subaru but my misses is braking my ***** over it please help me keep my subaru

Had my bugeye wrx sti for three weeks and it whistles under boost too doesn't sound like the turbo though ,engine is gonna come out soon to do cam follower so i'll have to check all the boost hoses n stuff.the boost is a bit lumpy not smooth ,think its had a dodgy remap.

It just sounds like a boost leak. Tighten all the jubilee clips going from the turbo to the intercooler and the intercooler to the throttle body, also worth checking that the dump valve isn't leaking where it seals to the intercooler. If that doesn't solve it get a pressure test done...

Found mine....dodgy Dump Valve gasket!
