rub some vaseline on the top edges of your windows so they close properly as well. Helps them seal easier if its a classic. Dont overdo the lube though
Two of my classics needed this little trick because of wind noise. Know thats not whats causing yours but I clicked on the thread because excessive wind was I problem for me too because the windows wouldnt seal properly when you put them up

It's the door seals, cars with no door frame are notorious for it, especially scoobs.
Wouldn't do the vasaline as it's petroleum based and will rot the rubber, try a silicone based gel if you want but it may not make much difference

With MY01 WRX & MY05 STi,I had no wind noise but the MY07 RB320.... thats was another story!
I read that the Hawkeye was especially susceptible with this, known as 'the bag pipes' at speeds in excess of 80-90mph.
I cured this with a set of Subaru 'Side Visors' which indicates it was the frameless windows!
