DashDAQ ??
Hi
i was on the autronic website and found an interesting add on, Basically you can monitor all your engine out puts through this device,
Has any got one of these if so what is it like ?
http://www.dashdaq.com/features/gauges.htm
this is the supposed list of values which can be monitored
http://www.dashdaq.com/specs/datalists/subaru.htm
and you can see all fault codes as they happen and reset,
ANY THOUGHTS?

Does it do all of that without buying sensors to fit? Not sure if I'm just being thick but if it can do boost, oil pressure/temp ect without having to buy loads of sensors thats not bad.

Same as a VI Monitor then, uses OBDII to read the values from the existing sensors, AFAIK Subaru's arent fully compatible until 2007 though would be good if someone else could confirm as I have been put off from buying a VI for my Newage because of this

This will work without the problem, but only if you have OE ECU not aftermarket ECU like SimTek,Syvecs,Autronics and other

See here
There will be a version for OEM next year, with functionality similar to the old PSI3 as well
Oh, and around £350 mark rather than £500-ish for a Dashdaq

You will still need to add sensors for oil temperature and pressure as they are not provided as standard by Subaru...and you then need to wire them to the dashdaq separately. HTH.

If you're running aftermarket ecu's, then keep an eye on the trader section for announcements regarding our new touchscreen unit that will be available in November Designed and built completely in the UK...but dunno if that counts for anything these days
