well you want an ap or helic organic clutch it may hold on but if not you need a twin plate and thats going to cost a lot of dosh and p.s that sort of torque will see that 5 spped of unless it has a ppg or simlar gear kit in it

The Helix Organic is a decent clutch and will take 450 ft/llb of torque, if you're planning on launching the car then realistically you're going to be entering twin plate territory. The Exeddy twin plate is a decent bit of kit, I've driven quite a few different cars at varying levels with that and it's a nice drive. Just don't go the paddle clutch route, they're bloody hideous things.

ps i cant see an sc42 making 450ft really even on a 2.1 so ap or helix is they way to go but there about 500 quid and then you need fitting which should only take 3 hours max 4 yeah and them extreme clutchs i hear are good but you have to buy has a package flywheel and clutch

Try David at APi for one of their clutches. Got one on mine and its very good and like driving on a nornmal clutch. Not sure what they are rated to but 400+ i think. Give him a call and he will talk you through it.
