Default Hesitation/Poor Idle When Cold

Hi all

Another question! Since owning my 1995 Uk Turbo and driving it the last couple of days i have noticed that first thing in the morning when cold the idle isnt amazing and there is slight hesitation when accelerating. Can anyone advise what the prob may be? Should doubt the car would have been service recently either.

Idling maybe idle control valve and hesiatation MAF or an i jumping to conclusions after reading on here?

Thanks in advance.

David

What do you mean hunting for revs? Speedo all seems to be ok, no problems there and def no limiter.

had this issue with mine when weather gets colder, always goes away after a few seconds, preumse its a coolant temp sensor or possibly fuel pump related in my case.

Could be something as simple as the plugs, can you explain a little more about the hesitation you're experiencing?

The rev problem seems to be they just drop out but will restart straight away, and hesitation i mean when i push the acc pedal it doesnt respond straight away, it kind of splutters i guess but then revs through it.... make any sense?
