Hi guys, according to K&N there are 2 varients of the 57i induction kit for the 98-00 spec turbos, one for the 218bhp models, one for the 280bhp models. But, what is the difference as I would have thought they would be exactly the same? Anyone shed some light? The 218bhp version is around a tenner cheaper

I was wondering this myself so here is the answer .
Both models are the same with the exception that the V5/6's have a sensor in the air scoop at the front of the bonnet whereas the uk car has a valve which connects between the maf to air filter tube. The 218 bhp k& n kit has the pipework for the uk cars,Whereas the 280 bhp k& n kit has pipework for the imports .
