2.5 wrx engine

Subaru engines are easy to go wrong if not put together correct,
Use a reputable engine builder if I was you.
Alan Jeffrey is one of the good ones, But not as cheap as Ebay, but far cheaper than buying 2 engines and the fitting costs of ebay, if you can see what I mean.
I posted my engine down to Alan Jeffrey, He re-built it then posted it back

I was originally going to re build my existing engine using strong components, but then seen these new engines from Subaru. And they cost slightly less. So I thought I'd ask if anyone knew how good they are?

Hi sorry to hi-jack your thread i am also looking to replace my engine in my fozzy.
I keep looking at this option:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3006102734...84.m1423.l2649
Anyone had any dealings with this guy?
I have been given a fitting quote on the above at a fair rate.

This chap is local and seems to have a good reputation.
Api have given me quotes £3k + for a rebuild, and approx 4 weeks turn around time.
