Exclamation Sports cat remap

Hi my classic is running 313/313 (de-catted) and mapped. If I was to buy a sports cat would I need it re mapping again. Or will it pass mot if I just put centre cat back on for mot. Don't know weather it's worth the hassle of a decat.
Any help appreciated.

IMO...

Ideally you'd map for it but broadly, you're restricting things rather than opening them up, so you're unlikely to have immediate problems. Though that's based on sensible road use. If you hoon around track or run at WOT for extended periods, you may want to think a little more about a remap.

I have a v2 sti running 333hp. I put a sports cat on mine and it kills the power. I only use it for mot now and has passed for 3 years in a row. No mapping required

It would need a remap if you put a cat back on.
