Looking for abit of info guys,
currently own a 1994 Wrx. now over the winter i was looking to purchase an early Type Ra that was engine less or dead and transfer my freshly built engine into,

but i have come across two Version 4 1998 Type R's one of here and another threw a friend. both are missing engine's,box, rear axles and struts and wish bones,

my questions are is it possible to build nearly most of one of these Type r's from my 94 wrx? now i know ill need a v4 complete manifold and sensors to tire in with the 98 loom but will the rear axles match?

rear axles will match , u can put the 94 engine , box and wiring etc into a 98 , only problem is the clocks , this can be overcome with aftermarket dash or seperate gauges , obviously the speedo will be a problem as its mechanical on a 94 but im sure you can get converters or even just use gps like road angel etc
