Well after finding out that one of the plugs was a grade 6 and the others were grade 7 I changed them all to 7s and the cars spluttering at high revs was cured, so I thought.
Trouble is when the car is running cold it goes great no hiccups it's just when the car is fully warmed up it starts to spit/splutter at high revs again, even sitting at traffic lights I can feel the revs bouncing slightly?
As I say on cold runs fine just when warmed up, I checked the coilpacks no cracks or splits, an I using right grade of plug?
Any help would be appreciated

Without trying to sound morbid you may have a problem with scorching on top of one of the pistons i had the same on a 94wrx last year,When cold the extra fuel hides the problem but when everything up to temp and fuel leaned out the problem becomes more apparent, piston number 3 (i think) nearest the turbo is the most common culprit remove the plug and get a camera down there and check for signs of det, scorching or even worse on mine there was hairline cracking,
Hope this is not the case for you and just something simple but worth checking out buddy

sounds like the coilpack or leads breaking down. Failing that, you have a lot of carbon buildup in your engine which is causing it, but I doubt that.
Start with the obvious, change the coilpack and leads.

coil pack and lead comes as one on that year bud and they are around the £75-£80 each for new ones which is the only way to go really you will need a set of four dont be tempted into getting the cheap ones off ebay as they are crap bud, Would be more use finding someone local with good packs and trying them on urs first,

you can get a esl daughterboard fitted.
If you get a reputable tuner to map it they shoudl be able to fault find, with the help of the mapper to trace exactly where the fault is.

With that lot on already it should have been mapped, you shouldnt really just bolt stuff onto an impreza without getting a map to support the mods. Filter, headers and exhaust will all be making it run leaner, especially with no pump.
