Default Brembo conversion on a classic

Hi all, jus a quick one please. I have a 94 sti that i have already fitted subaru 4 pots on the front and 2 pots on the back. Ive been offered a set of brembo's from a 06 plate blobeye dirt cheap and would like to know if they fit the disks ive already got for my subaru 4 pots? Also what about pads, are the brembo pads different??

All advice greatly appreciated, thanks

Hi,

They won't fit your disks because Brembo disks are a bigger diameter than the 4 pot disks and also the pads are different. You also can't use the Brembo disks from that car because the stud pcd will be 5x114mm and yours is 5x100mm

The calipers will fit but you will need disks from a pre 2005 sti and pads

You will be able have drilled, or drill out yourself, the 06 discs for the 5x100 fitment.

But you will need a MINIMUM of STi17's to fit over the Brembos. And they must come from cars up to 05, not after, ie: be 100pcd.

If they are at the right price it's worth getting the right discs and pads as long as your wheels will clear them
