looking into purchesing an 05 type uk sti, are there any issues with these or anything to look out for?

I've only had classics. and was woundering how good do these drive?
are they heavy and sluggish compared to the classic?

I went from the classic to the blob.

Major differences that you do notice is that you feel more connected to the road in the classic and power delivery is more stroger in the blob. Thats probably because of the newer turbo.

As your a scooby owner already just look out for the normal things but check if the suspension has been changed. It seems they do tend to go especially the rear shocks. Mine went but then decided to change to BC coilovers. Ride is even better and the handeling is much better then my classic.

I have a 05 JDM STi now mate. It is something else. I cant compare it to a UK spec as i havnt had one but if you can go JDM then do the twinscroll setup is great! I ran a 13.6 at pod completely Stock!

Compared to my classic there is no comparison The Blob wins everytime in everyway.

 

i have a 53 reg type uk sti with a 353 tsl map on it
its mint mate mine did a 12.75 at pod
