Hi Guys,
yet another question to help on my steep learning curve.
Have searched through here trying to find the answer but here goes.
My 99turbo classic has straight through exhaust from turbo all the way back.
No Cats, just a back box at the rear.
Now my question is, whats likely to happen at MOT time?
Am i going to need to purchase cats to get it through the emission test?
It looks to me ( without crawling all the way underneath in the rain) that there is one pipe from the turbo, which then joins to a middle section, which then joins to the back box, and thats it.
Am i pretty much gonna have to buy a complete system?
I am one of the un- luckiest people on the face of this planet, so am guessing it could cost a small fortune just to get through the MOT.
Cheers fellas.

Hiya mate, yes you will need to fit a cat at the front at mot time.
If you prefer to run without one then you could just pick up a second hand one ready for the mot and remove it again after its done.Shouldnt be too expensive to get.
Don't worry about the middle pipe and back box, they are fine.
Danny.
