Default omex on Subaru

Been loking, but has anyone used one?
Is there a standard harness , or is it going to be a DIY job.

Anyone map these ECU's ?

done a fair few on other makes, dont remember doing one on a subaru, would imagine there is a plug and play version.

I believe the owner was in partnership with GEMS originally and then the two partners fell out and the companies split.. so it is fairly similar to GEMS, and in some ways better.

Not sure how much they cost but might work out cheaper to get a more common subaru ecu supplied and fitted etc.

generally speaking the gems specialises more in the subaru/evo plug and play and the omex has really been used more on unusual stuff, mapped a couple of volvo's on omex for example.

Yeah one was an ametur(sp?) touring car with around 550bhp through front wheels and caged and totally stripped and was surprisingly light, expected a volvo to be heavier.
Full throttle and it was a case of trying to work out which hedge we were going to go through.

I am sure I did another car on an omex but cant recall what it was.. I am going to have to check now.

I have omex 600 for £450, with the sensors, or ESL , these are my two options now for my ECU. I have spent all the rest of my ££ on the new engine and intercooler lol.

Part of me wants to do this just to be different , plus if the engine is out it maybe a good time to fit a trigger wheel.
