Default stainless bolt set,anyone used them?

im looking into the bolt set for the engine bay has anyone used them?,all i seem to have found is an ebay job from thailand for 25quid

never thought to check that,nevermind there must be other kits the same somewhere,kind of wish i never started with the polishing and cleaning its never ending

I took all my OE ones off and got them plated at the local platers for about £18

didnt know you could get them plated,does it work well flake off or anything?not sure if there is anywhere like that in my area

I tried a bolt set but found them a bit too soft which could have meant problems undoing some later on , mine are chromed

the only problem with that is it doesnt stop them from rusting and it will peel eventually, s/s is definatly the way to go

tbh, you can't use stainless for any high torque bolts anyway.

Most of mine I CAN change have been done via a local bolt and nut stockist found via www.yell.com.

Have cost me pennies so far
