Hi
Not sure what sort of help ill get as i dont think that many would wanna do this to there scoob but ill try anyway...
Im fitting a towbar to my MY05 STI. The towbar comes with a multicore cable coming from the electric plug to attach trailer plate lights to.
Does anybody know how to wire the electrics in?
Is there a connector on my car that they will attach straight to or do i need to tee-in to my light circuits?
The towbar came off an 03 WRX, can anyone confirm whether it will fit my STI ok?
Thanks

i know when i done my accord type r .. the tow bar came with a bag of scotch locks and it was a case of tapping into the wires for the rear lights... obv if you have a car with one reverse light you need to choose that side to wire into...

no instructions unfortunately.
Bought second hand off ebay for £30, the new ones cost around £150.
Here's the item

One thing that worrys me slightly is that only one side has the frame to fit onto the subframe (see second pic).
Is the other side already on the car to attach up to?
I asked whether it needed anything else and was told all i would need it the bolts to fit it.
