Default Impreza Classic Version Compatibility

I've got a Impreza Turbo 2000, if i was to buy any other shell whether it be a P1, WRX STI Type RA or R shell, would the Turbo 2000 parts fit the new shell? Or are the mountings for the gearbox and all different?

Thanks

All the parts would bolt in, what you have to worry about is the wiring looms for both the ecu and engine.

Yeah the above is spot on ;-)

Sometimes on different models JDM/UK etc the wiring looms have slight differences aswell as the ECU pinouts.

So long as you are sticking with the same version car all bits will interchange, but most classic parts are interchangeable to other classics.

For instance, starting next week we have a customer from here who's complete engine, suspension, brakes etc we are removing from his UK turbo 2000 wagon and fitting to his new P1 shell...
