Wont rev past 2500rpm. my02 sti
Hello everyone.
Occasionaly when i put the clutch in to stop the revs drop right off and then recover to idle, even dropped so low its stalled a few times.
I thought it might be maf so bought a pattern part from bavarian dominator, with the new maf on, the car idles perfect and revs dont drop off when stoppiong like they were, but now the car wont rev past 2500rpm.
Put your foot down even a little and it splutters and stutters and goes no where.
Iv put the old maf back on now and it revs normal again.
Have i missed something when fitting new maf, ecu reset?
What would cause the revs to act this way from switching mafs?
