Hiya. depends alot on what your wanting from it. My car from factory had a vf35 and was maxed out at around the 330 mark. the 18g i now have is doing around 375 on petrol. Theres little difference in spool on mine maybe 200 rpm but then i have avs heads that makes a big difference. For me the 18g is far better. bigger kick in the back, more bhp & torque and able to hold on right to the top of the rev range when im brave enough to hold it up there lol.

On a 2 litre with non AVCS heads and if you want to preserve the gearbox VF35 everytime. The 18G won't spool as quick on your car as Turbotits and if you're running the standard box the chanes are it'll shat itself the first time you use it in anger. Less chance of that with the VF35, which is a lovely turbo for the classic! On my MY99 with the usual supporting mods, mine made 340/340 it spooled brilliantly and the gearbox was fine.

Dont change your headers unless you are aiming for 400bhp+, have the oe headers ported by Harvey on here and they will be good for 400bhp.
