Default A couple of questions.

This is my first post but ive been lurking around for about a month now. Ive got a 2006 WRX 2.5.

Im looking to change the timing / cam belt for piece of mind and also coolant at the same time.

Ive got no worries in respect of doing the job but are the dayco belts off http://www.importcarparts.co.uk/ any good? or gates? ive seached around and found no clear answer.

Also, I cant get genuine subaru coolant / antifreeze anywhere. What should I be using?

Thank you.

Gates are standard (subaru ones are gates), so nice to stick with those, and anti freeze can be had from any dealer (they should stock it being a dealer )
It does specify exactly which type of anti freeze is required in the handbook

Sweet, ill get the gates one then.

The handbook is a bit vague when it comes to coolant. And when i rang the nearist dealer (grantham) they said blue! lol. Which didn't give me much confidence in them!
