Default Car stuters when turbo trys kick in

as title when you drive it when you reach the turbo 3500 ish get a woosh but theres no power and splutters engine running fine apart from hunting but gonna replace idle control and the maf has a fmic on mayby a boost leak anyone on here any advice has a fpr installed to dv goes off a wee bit

Just bought it says it has a z4 with esl but wont know for sure till tommoro

I did have a stutter on mine, turned out to be a faulty temp sensor for the ECU. I have an Apexi PowerFC with hand commander, so I could see the faulty temp reading at times dropping to -49 and car stuttering... Even though temp of the engine and guage on dash board was fine. If you can`t see the Temp reading your ECU is seeing from a faulty ecu sensor, you may not have thought of checking this one as your problem

suggest you check your coilpacks/plugs, common problem on the early cars but you would of known that had you searched

Indeed, stutters from coilpacks and MAF's seem to be the number 1 question on SN

I get nothing atall after 3500 rpm dump valve goes a wee bit no boost goes to zero on the gauge its like somethings not connected or faulty mayby a joint on the fmic not sealed properly car will rev when in neutral normaly no turbo kicks in well theres no dump of preasure no turbo working its running minted wld bennefit from a idle control valve i have a whole other car working to swap bits over doesent have a cdb like one with problems so im not sure on the pipes ect gonna try the maf first change idle valve induction check all the fmic and replace coil packs if needed will test first thou

Thanks all for your help anymore suggestions advice ect would be very apreciated my donor cars at a garage so need get all bits i need while im there

could this be like said because its not mapped or ecu fault got to be somethin daft some one must know can only get it to 60 mph the now lol fastest scooby ive been in lol common im diying here help

ive just had the same fault and it was down too maf sensor and cracked coilpacks i wrapped the coilpack in insulation tape and cleaned the maf and soo far soo good

Once you have learned basic mechanics try some basic punctuation, it will help you get more reply's !

Does your car not rev above 3.5k at all or will it go above that but just with no boost ?
