6 speed into classic fitting time!!!

Default 6 speed into classic fitting time!!!

Im just about to fit my 6 speed 2005 wr1 box into my classic STi and have all the bits ready i think but just wodered if there is anything i have overlooked.
Got the box,prop,mount/cradle,selector/linkage,front axle stubs and im using a uk turbo 2000 3.54 diff and keeping my shafts hubs etc,im also keeping my 5 speed clutch and am lead to believe my 5 speed starter motor will be fine with this setup.
does the starter have to be modified in anyway or just straight fit and go,and is there anything i have overlooked that someone may know about if they have already fitted a 6 speed this way,cheers.

I will be fitting one to mine this weekend hopefully and I will be using the 5 speed starter, no modifications needed. If you fit a six speed clutch and flywheel you will then need to use the six speed starter

I don't want to thread-hijack, but what are the ratios like with this setup? Do you get a much longer top gear (Classic WRX's are hopelessly undergeared, IMO)?
Sounds like a great mod.

The best mod i did to mine, personally id go JDM as i didnt wont the 200mph the uk 6 speeds are geared to do, unless u live on the motorway that is

200mph...JEEEEEEEEEEEEZUS IM GONNA DIE.

Was told the DCCD WR1 box is geared different to a standard uk 6 speed box,could someone confirm?
