Default AVCS on a classic, what inlet manifold

Same question as above. I want to fit avcs heads to my 2.1 when its ready. I have already got wiring diagrams and starting to make the control harness read to take back to the ecu.

But which inlet manifold will i need, i am only assuming my Phase 1.5 inlet will be no good?

you can use your 1.5 manifold with modification and the conversion plates from carldavey. or use a phase 2 ie turbo 2000 but requires spacers to lift the fuel rail out the way of the avcs pipes.

Thanks for the reply, i remeber reading somewhere you could use a newage sti inlet manifold?? phase 2 is easy enough to get hold anyway.

i have a phase 2 inlet still complete if you need one buddy. which ecu are you planning on running i looked into both simtec route or modifying a bug or blob ecu to fit the classic loom

I would like to go with a syvecs but simtec is a possibilty now that they offer an upgrade which enables you to be able to use existing loom either way i know i need to be run the extra control cables back to the ecu.

Will let you know if i need the phase 2 inlet manifold.

Cheers
