boost control solanoid??

Default boost control solanoid??

i recently placed a few posts about my motor
subaru wrx 97 plate wagon

i have asked a few people and no one knows really, ive tried all i can think of so far!
issue-drive now and then you feel like a little miss or not a miss more like a little jerk as tho a fuel starv now and then!
so far changed...air flow maf unit..air filter...fuel filter..spark plugs..leads...coil...
its not at all bad it just when driving you feel it now and then like its a little fuel starve now and then kind of thing, or tho brake shoe slightly sticking on now and then!

would a issue with the boost control solanoid cause issues on and off like this please>?
it clicks rapidly when you have been driving it a little harder than normal upon idle, other times it does not click when driving normally, how does this work and can it cause miss like problems at slow speeds/40/50 etc?

No very unlikely to cause a miss if at all. Where abouts are you? It might pay well just to visit someone who maps Imprezas as it's likely to be quite an easy problem to diagnose?

nothing in engine fault codes either!
i am in kent.

not sure on the issue so far and am finding it rather annoying.

Default boost valve

does the boost control valve click all the time? from engine being cold on a wrx turbo 97classic please? or only when norm temp driving it hard etc???

or does it just click on/off rapidly when you have been driving the car harder than norm?
trying to work out if this unit is on its way out or going faulty in some way!
