Default Error code 0031 my02 sti.

I have above code with my sti is it the o2 sensor ? If so which is it and where please,thanks.

I thought 31 was the Throttle Position Sensor?

p0031 fault code is 02 sensor position 1 heater control circuit low

lambda sensor in other words , the heater is probably packing in inside the sensor

replace it and fault code should clear the sensor should be screwed into the exhaust up-pipe or on the downpipe , i think on ur model it is below the turbo on the up-pipe though

thats for the old classics cel type checks mate

newage use obd codes from a fault code reader or other software and are denoted as p**** ( eg ; p0031 or p0111 etc etc )

I had cel with no code and cel light flashing a few weeks back but went and stayed off,it was colder when it happened tho and this morning it was cold again and it returned,i cleared it at petrol station and it come straight back on so think it needs doing ! Any got a picture of sensor on the car.?

isnt the cell with no code normally the NPS ?

Had that done stig a while ago mate,may not have been this fault when it came on a few weeks back but is defo 0031 now.

Any pics of this sensor on the car on my 02 sti ? Also best place to buy a genuine subaru one other than main stealers ?

Had quick search on web and think its the one behind the o/s wheel liner or **** guard as we say in body trade,lol.am i right ? Think ineed a special sockett too.

im 99% sure its 22641AA042 denso o1d18,,, mine went last year main dealer wanted £360 i got a brand new one off a company on ebay who supplies the denso original one del for £90 approx....

Here is my post that i put on last year, hope it helps...

Well my a/f oxygen lamda sensor has gone, so after some investigation and pricein heres wot i found:

1, subaru want £342....(thats just for the part)..world car parts 01526 348504 wanted £94 delivered.


2. the part is denso 22641 aa042 (2349011) both companys supply exactly the same part, by the same company with the same number on it.....

How the hell can there be a £248 difference for the same part....

Nice one mate,your spot with part number mate and also i have asked the same question about subaru wanting approx 200% mark up !!!! I cant beleive what they want for a sensor.i thought she thought i asked for 10 of them by mistake when i priced it up ! Robbing **** ! Cheers again mate,carl.
